From the top of these Piochs, the view opens to a wonderful panorama. At the North, you will admire the foothills of the Cévènes, and at the South the shores of the Méditerrannée.
On the higher positions, the soil comes sometimes of "poudingues". This variety of conglomerate brings together pebbles by a natural cement.
It agrees with the making of powerful red wines and with the harvest of Muscat à Petit Grains dried by over-maturation. In this case, berries are subject to a desydration on the trunk. They are harvested on over-maturation after tha autumn equinox.
Slopes are enriched by clay. This sector enables to elaborate a dry white wine of Muscat à Petits Grains.
Vines lined by the scrub enjoy symbiosis with aromatic plants.
This is where berries harness and become impregnated with the most beautiful scents. You will find then in your glass flavours of thyme, lavander, rosemary, mint, blackberry...
