The Estate

Situated between Nîmes and Montpellier, wines
have a claim, over 30 ha of vines, to the most
prestigious designation : Coteaux du Languedoc,
Grès de Montpellier, Vin de Pays d'Oc,
Vin de Pays de la Bénovie...

 

The landscape is composed essentially of "villafranchiennes" ridges created 1.5 to 3 millions
years ago by a heap of shingles, accumulated
at each flood alongside these rivers.

It covered the continental plateau Pliocene
to get to the Mediterranean coast already
developped in Languedoc-Roussillon since the
end of the Miocène. We find thus clay-chalky
soil or with an acidic tendency.



Since the first wine-making in 1986,
Jean-Pierre Boissier has explored the
viticultural landscape of the estate to reveal
a wine range due to originalities :
